Fake Candles

I love to use candle warmers in my home.

They're safer than regular candles (no open flames), they make the house smell good.
I continuously have the warmers on and the problem is, the scent in candles goes away within a few weeks.
Fun fact: when using candle warmers, the wax never goes away. The wax level is always the same.

So this is a how- to on how to fake candles (because candles are expensive man) and how to reuse candle jars.

Get yourself a candle warmer. Michaels, Walmart, ect for like 7 bucks.

Let's begin.

Candle tarts from Yankee Candle (the top 3) are roughly 2 bucks a piece and will last about a week and a half or so of continuous scent.
The two on the bottom are wax blocks from Walmart, they cost 2 bucks. Those will last about a week.

How To Clean Out Used Candle Containers:

It's super easy, first place on your candle warmer to melt the wax.
Next pour the liquid wax into a plastic cup.

Throw that sucker in the freezer (so it hardens and then you just throw it in the trash for easy cleanup.)

Use super hot water, as hot as you can get it to rinse out the rest of the wax pieces.
The hot water helps to melt what's left.

Use dish soap and a sponge to clean it out. The dish soap is needed to get rid of the greasy residue.

Yay! Clean candle holder!

Throw in your tarts, and let em melt.

Now your house smells all kindsa pretty.
